Course Goal / Objective
Introducing the political social and cultural features of the national literature, Neo-Greek and Nayi movements and providing sample texts, poet and writers of the national literature period.
Course Content
Simplification in the Turkish language is identified by the phases of the national literary period. NeoGreek and Nayi movements are analyzed and resolved. Beş hececiler poets are introduced. Poets of the era, especially Halit Fahri Ozansoys poems are analyzed with examples. The life and literary personality of Ömer Seyfettin is presented.
