Course Goal / Objective

Definition of plant breeding, agricultural production contribution, basic principles, genetic mechanism and breeding methods are aimed to be taught.

Course Content

To understand the importance and purpose of plant breeding and agricultural production effect. To be able to explain the basic principles of the evolution of culture plants. To be able to explain the concept of variation in plants and its relation to genetic factors.
