Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to equip the graduates of the Veterinary Faculty with the knowledge and skills required to identify and treat the arthropod diseases of domestic and wild animals and to take necessary measures to prevent the spread of such diseases; to protect community health through identifying the zoonotic arthropoda and taking necessary precautions.

Course Content

The components of this course consist of the taxonomy, morphological and biological characteristics of arthropoda, which are significant in terms of domestic and wild animal species and community health as well as the clinical symptoms, identification, treatment and control of the diseases caused by arthropoda.
