Course Goal / Objective

Introduction to Economics II deals with macroeconomics. Subjects such as national income accounting and its determination, aggregate demand and aggregate supply, equilibrium income, fiscal policy, monetary policy, money and banking, the price level, inflation, umemployment, growth and economic fluctuations will be covered.

Course Content

National income and its determination; changes in national income, elements of public finance, money and banking, international trade, macroeconomic policy, economic growth and development. Illustrations from the Turkish economy will be taught.
