Course Goal / Objective

Bank and the definition of banking, basic concepts, foundation and development of banking, banking system and banks in the economy, features and functions of the banks, bank products and services, loan and credit process, deposit and account transactions.

Course Content

Banks and banking definition, historical development,types of banks in the banking system, banking confidentiality,data compilation and review, banks audit, legal provisions related to deposit accounts, accounts operational procedures, types of cheque, the cheque relevant statutory provisions, foreign exchange deposit accounts and other core banking services
