Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the drying system and machines that is improtant in textile finishing, the selection of the system in different drying-fixed theory of mechanism and teach things to be done for efficient drying process.

Course Content

Importance and Purpose of Drying in Textile, Materials to be Dried, Methods of Drying and Applications in Textile. Heat and Mass transfer. Properties of Humid weather. Factors Affecting Drying Processes. Drying Efficiency and Temperature Parameters. Introductions of Drying machines.
