Course Goal / Objective
Learning about the development of complex societies in the Levant during the 5th-4th millennium BC, and the cycle of urbanization and de-urbanization in the Levant during the 3rd millennium BC.
Course Content
Settlement patterns, architecture, craft products, burial patterns, botanical and faunal remains, trade relations, and other archaeological evidence which reflect changing levels of social complexity and urbanisation in the Levant.
