Course Goal / Objective

To introduce the Elam and Persian culture which developed in ancient Iran, after a presentation of the pre-historic cultures which gave rise to the development of Elam culture. The Elam Persian culture is presented with specific reference to the historical development of settlements, architecture and works of art.

Course Content

Historical Geography of Iran, Palaeolithic ,Neolithic Chalcaolitic and Bronze Ages in Iran.Cultures, settling areas, First states in Iran.
