Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to inform students about the formation and evolution of art formed in Prehistoric and Ancient Civilizations from social, intellectual, political, economic and geographic dimensions.
Course Content
Prehistoric Arts, Paleolithic Period, Mesolithic and Neolithic Period arts, Ancient Arts, Mesopotamian (Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Assyria), Egyptian, the Aegean (Crete and Mycenae), Anatolian (Hittites, Phrygian, Urartu), Greek, Etruscan and Roman Arts
