Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach casting, welding, plastic forming and machining processes, introduce the principles of these processes, currently used equipments and application fields, teach basic calculations for the used methods.

Course Content

Principles and classification of manifacturing processes; ads and disads and limitation of each other; Relationship between Desing and Manifacturing; Choosing the correct process.
