Course Goal / Objective

Students will have knowledge and practice in research methods, thesis and project preparation. The researcher investigates the specific topics that the learners have learned during the course of their education in the department and arranges them as a thesis within the scope of the purpose, importance, problems and limitations obtained by literature review. The theoretical and experimental knowledge obtained by the learners is provided to create data for future studies.

Course Content

To deepen the content and artistic meaning of the work carried out within the scope of the application course with the literature study and to make the presentation file in the thesis format with the photographs of the working process.

1 Brain storm to determine the theme of thesis, analyzes of thesis and pre-research process. (The Graduate Thesis should be confirmed and presented to the lecturer until the 4th week of education term). Researching the catalogues, periodicals, article books and web pages which include the works of artists and designers who use ceramic and other materials.
2 Evaluation of the preliminary research for the determination of the thesis, research methods and guidance about the source search. 4 Continue to search for sources, approve and submit the Completion Thesis Notification Form.
