Course Goal / Objective
Use the map to be able forestry practices to distinguish from the map, to be able to read a map, terrain and being able to specify the location on the map display.
Course Content
The importance of maps in forestry; Measurement Units and Scale The concept of map types and classification; Map edge information and special signs, layout segmentation; Maps Coordinate Systems; Benefiting from the map, placing the direction of the map; Use and Evaluation of the topographic map (contours, slope calculations, coordinate and distance measurement, area calculation, there are jeans and interpolation, the coordinate calculations); Import Section of the map; Digital maps, GPS (Global Positioning System); GIS (Geographic Information System).
