Course Goal / Objective

To develop and teach measurement techniques of forest products and services.

Course Content

It is a scientific discipline dealing with various aspects of the community and units of the forest ecosystem at different times and places, or the products and services resulting therefrom, either directly or indirectly. Introduction, Measurement of wood, Measurement of wood, Forest inventory, Measuring of sawmans, Measurement of development of sawmans, Measurement and census methods in other subjects

LO02 To learn measurement units and error types.
LO03 Learn the types of wood, body shapes, numerical and proportional definition of wood.
LO04 It learns to measure wood with sterling, weighing, calculation of shell quantity, sources of error and amount.
LO05 It learns to measure tree dimensions, to find the stump body volume, to estimate the volume and value according to the stem, branch, shell and wood classes of the standing tree.
LO06 Learns the weight of stigma trees, the age and the amount of increase.
LO07 To learn sufficient information about forest inventory regulation and statistical evaluation and sampling methods.
LO08 To learn necessary information about stand concept, sample point, length, area and volume units, sample area shape and size.
