Course Goal / Objective
The importance of the economic and environmental aspects of waste paper is to provide general information about recycling and waste paper recycling system.
Course Content
Collection of waste paper. Waste paper potential in our country and the world. Classification of waste paper. The history of waste paper technology. The preparation of waste paper. Removal of undesired impurities. The recovery of the chemicals used. The methods used for bleaching of waste paper fibers. Effects on the pulp of the recovery process. Waste paper processing factories water and wastewater operations. Packings of waste paper, newsprint, tissue paper, printing and writing paper production techniques. The paper will be discussed in the environmental impact of recycling.
