Course Goal / Objective

To teach the basic concepts and principles of chemistry, develop problem-solving skills and to explain the importance of chemistry in our daily life

Course Content

The properties and classification of matter, atomic structure, atomic models, periodic table and its properties, symbols, formulas, chemical nomenclature, the mole concept, chemical equations and calculations, solutions, dissolution, solubility, acid-base concept, molarite, gases, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, titration experiment, simple chemistry experiments and analysis of chromium.
