Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to help students understand the formation and evolution of plastic arts formed in the Middle Ages and Early Modern from social, intellectual, political, and economic dimensions .

Course Content

Byzantine Art, Roman Art, Gothic Art, Pre-Renaissance, Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Art of the Renaissance in the Central and Northern European countries, the ,Mannerism, Baroque Art
