Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to develop a basic understanding of the profession of Industrial Engineering. It aims to introduce industrial engineering terminology, industrial engineering problems, tools and subject areas through a series of lectures, projects/case studies and class discussions.

Introduction to Industrial Engineering, Information about Industrial Enginnering and Department of Industrial Enginnering of Cukurova University, Manufacturing Engineering, Facility Planning-Facility Location, Facility Planning-Facility Layout, Material Handling and Storage Systems, Work Design and Performance Management, Performance Measurement and Evalution, Production Planning and Control, Quality Management, Operation Research, Integrated System Design, System Simulation
