Course Goal / Objective
The structure of the soil properties and plant nutrients to comprehend its role in providing for qualification.
Course Content
Soil concept, importance of soil, main material of soil, composition and properties (minerals and rocks), soil forming processes; Physical, chemical and biological weathering, texture and its importance for soil ecology and fertility, structure of clay minerals and importance for soil fertility, definition and classification of organic matter of soil, humin and its importance for soil, soil organisms, , Soil fatigue, adsorption of cations and factors affecting them, anion adsorption and factors affecting it, soil acidity and its relation to soil fertility, coagulation and peptization, soil structure, structure types, factors forming soil structure, (PF concept), the water movement in soil and the factors affecting it, the water budget of the soil, the water supply of the plants, the availability of the plant nutrients in the soil, the formation of crust in the soil, the soil water,
