Course Goal / Objective

Selects various topics from early Qur'anic exegetical texts and contemporary exegetes approaching ways to the same topics in their exegesis will be discussed. Major works will be dealed with are: Taberi, Beğavi, Kurtubi, Zemahşeri, Razi and İbn Kesir.

Course Content

Students will analyse the Qur'an through these exegetical texts.
