Course Goal / Objective

To teach the basic concepts and applications of landscape analysis, data collection methods and approaches.

Course Content

Resource and the concepts of resource value. Landscape planning process and resource classification. Landscape analysis and data collection sources in the scale of design and planning Landscape analysis and inventory of tools and documentation Data layers and thematic maps Classification of land cover and landscape characterization Data collection techniques for the analysis of biological traits: analysis of vegetation Biotope/habitat classification
