Course Goal / Objective

To introduce/classify landscapes and research methods of plant sociology and teach the use of community classification of plant indicator and scope of naturalness ratings.

Course Content

Basic concepts of plant science, plant systematics / taxonomy syn. Vegetation units, formations, plant associations and communities. Methodological approaches for the analysis of vegetation. Relationships between plant communities and habitat conditions: Plant life forms. Human impact of the spread of plant communities: Synantropik flora and vegetation.
