Course Goal / Objective

Developing the perceptions of preservice science teachers about definition, history and philosophy of science and their competencies for epistemological and ontological arguments

Course Content

Purposes of Science, Characteristics of Science , Development of Science and Phases , Basic Schools of Thought in Philosophy of Science, Effects of Philosophy of Science Arguments on Devlopment of Science, Brief History of Some Discoveries , Being as Ontologically, Scientific Knowledge and Its Characteristics, Generation of Scientific Knowledge, Nature of Scientific Concepts, Scientific Method, Science and Society
