Course Goal / Objective
to understand natural structure of the earth especially land forms and parent material as soil forming factors, mineralogical and chemical properties and identification of the common rocks, geographic land forming forces, formation and properties of fluvial land forms and other land forms Origins of the Earth, geologic time, rocks, volcanic rocks, sedimentary rocks, metamorphic rocs, mineralogical composition and properties, land forming forces, geological structure and land forms, mass movements fluvial land forms, wind forced land forms, costal land forms and karstic land forms..
Course Content
Identify common rocks on the Earth, knows their properties, minerals, sedimentary rocks, magmatic rocks and metamorphic rocks, landscape forming forces and their outcomes, fluvial landforms, karst landscapes, landscapes formed by wind and glacial forces, coastal landscape.
