Course Goal / Objective
Aims to introduce specific to fishing to breeding issue of the most important factor affecting productivity in agriculture
Course Content
Goal and concept of animal breeding, qualitative and quantitative phenotypes, genotypic and environmental factors, genetic constitution of a population (Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium), genotype and environmental variance, resemblance between relatives, heritability, selection, inbreeding and crossbreeding.
