Course Goal / Objective

To provide information on basic principles of irrigation engineering, soil-plant-water-atmosphere relations; irrigation water requirement, irrigation system capacity,irrigation scheduling and irrigation systems

Course Content

Principles of irrigation; soil-water-plant-atmosphere relations;crop water requirement; irrigation water requirement; irrigation system capacity; irrigation efficiencies; water distribution uniformity; irrigation scheduling techniques; irrigation systems; sprinkler, drip and surface irrigationmethods
