Course Goal / Objective

The goals of this course are to teach; the materials used in machine manufacturing and their properties, producing Iron and steel material, steel standards, heat treatment and inspection the materials, corrosion and methods protection from corrosion , and selection of materials.

Course Content

To teach materials in manufacturing equipment, mechanical and physical properties of materials and test methods of materials. To have information about Iron, steel, plastic and ceramics materials and their standards. To learn cold and heat treatment process for steel materials and to learn protection methods of metal materials from corrosion, and select materials for manufacturing
