Course Goal / Objective

Aim of this lecture, to provide information about structural and functional properties of the machinery and equipment used in mechanization of animal husbandry (Hay making, feed preparation, milking, manure handling and storage, feeding, watering, poultry housing).

Course Content

The machinery and equipment used in hay making (Mowers, rakes, hay conditioners, balers, bale picking and transporting, forage harvesters, forage blowers, silo unloaders), structural and functional properties of the feed preperation systems uded feed plants (silos,weighers, comminution machines, mixers, pelleting and delivering), manure scrapers, milking machines and milking parlour, feeding and watering systems, incubators for eggs.
