Course Goal / Objective

This course aims at providing an information on the basic principles of Public International Law, besides addressing in particular the law of state responsibility and the settlement of disputes in International Law.

Course Content

International Law analysis the sources of international law, relations between international and national law, law of treaties, statehood and recognition, general principles of jurisdiction and the acquisition of sovereignty over territory.
