Course Goal / Objective

Teaching methods, techniques and tactics of volleyball

Course Content

The general characteristics of volleyball. Historical development of volleyball in the world and in Turkey. Modern volleyball rules, playing area and dimensons . Base positions . Teaching techniques of service tennis and jumping services. Teaching techniques of forearm. Teaching techniques of pass. Service-reception with using pass techniques. Teaching techniques of spike. Characteristics of setter and pass varieties. Using of different attack techniques. Teaching techniques of block.
