Course Goal / Objective

In accordance with the teachings of the history of architecture, Anatolian Turks understand the theories of architectural design, rich architectural heritage, to introduce contemporary architecture and design so that assessments can be made to ensure better for students to create a strong historical background.

Course Content

Source of Turkish architecture in Anatolia; The architecture of pre-Islamic Turks, the Anatolian Seljuks, Anatolian Principalities and Ottoman period architecture products planning. Building types, mass, and the front understanding of the plan, construction techniques and materials in the context of investigation in relation with social and cultural environment. 20. developed in the early years of the Republican National Architecture Flows century with other currents underlying the development of Turkish architecture, basic concepts, architecture, urban design and evaluate products.
