Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students to distinguish the structure of rural and urban areas and their continuity, to understand and question urban development and urbanity

Course Content

In this course, concepts of rural-urban, the difference between them, the theories of habitation, reasons for migration, the relationship between migration and tradition, reason for not being able to adapt to urban life, various social consequesces of unadaptation in Tukey, and crime are investigated.
