Course Goal / Objective
Introduction to Communication course aims to give an understanding of the importance of communication within a frame of basic information, key concepts and theoretical discussions. Graduate students of this course who plan to have professional jobs in communications will be able to take a step into an academic area where the knowledge comes within aspiration for intellectual creativity.
Course Content
Content of the course is as follows: process of communication, forms of communication,mass media, historical transformation from writing to internet,language and semiotics, meaning and semiotics, media and ethics and ethics of profession, interpersonel communication,group communication, interorganizational communication, international communication.
