Course Goal / Objective
To educate the nurses who are able to use the basic knowledge, concepts and principles of public health nursing science in the direction of society's health needs, the health care system of the country and the philosophy of non-high self-efficacy, to develop professional health nursing roles at every stage of health and disease and to protect the individuals, community groups and society's health
Course Content
This course focuses on the basic concepts and theories of public health and public health nursing science; Focuses on protecting and developing the health of individuals, families and community groups. It introduces roles and functions specific to the basic practice areas of the public health nurse (family, school, workplace, elderly care and home care).
