Course Goal / Objective
Students evaluate the status of malpractise, take the necessary precautins, ensures the safety of themselves and their patients. Students know necesseray legislations.
Course Content
Malpractise: conceptual framework and definitions, patient rights, Heaith professionals rights, Patient safety, health professionals safety, defects and liability, legal responsibility of health professonals, case report,distinction of malpractise-complications, medical malpractise and risk managemen , criminal sanctions of malpractise,situations commonly encountered by nurses in malpractice, professional liability insurance, example cases and analysis.
