Course Goal / Objective
This course first-year students better understand how to use microscopes and laboratory topics in general biology, and aims to introduce the basic building elements of the cells and tissues.
Course Content
Orientation and light Microscopy, plant and animal cell shapes; cytoplasm motions, plastids, starch granules, crystal types, dry protein granules and cystoids in plant cells; stoma types, lenticels, mitosis; cover and secretion hairs; corner collenchymas, stone cells, latex pipes, resin canals, phloem and xylem in plant tissues; crosscut anatomy of root, stem and leaves in spermatophytes.
