Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this lecture, underwater archeology terminology, underwater excavation techniques, underwater research techniques, ancient shipwreck surveys, ancient boat typology, distant regional maritime trade are described

Course Content

.Terminology of underwater archeology, the study area, its history, starting in Turkey, ancient wrecks, ancient typology of ships and underwater excavations and surveys made today constitute the content of this lecture
