Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to comprehend all kinds of works of art that have survived to our day with the political history of the civilizations (Neo-Babylonian-Neo Assyrian) who had established the empire in South and North Mesopotmia in the Iron Age.

Course Content

In this course, the Neo-Assyrian Period, North Mesopotamia, its geographical features, the outlines of the Neo Assyrian political history and the Neo Assyrian cities are studied.
