Course Goal / Objective

To provide knowledge about the farmacokinetic properties, mechanism of action, side effects, therapeutic uses, contraindications and drug interaction of chemotherapeutics.

LO01 Student will learn the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties in the treatment of infection.
LO02 Student will classify the antibiotics used in infection treatment according to their spectrum.
LO03 Student will learn the mechanism of action, indications, side effects, contraindications of antibiotics.
LO04 Student will learn the mechanism of action, indications, side effects, contraindications of antifungal antibiotics and other antifungal agents.
LO05 Students will learn antimicrobial drug combinations and interactions.
LO06 Students will learn drugs in the teatment of urinary tract infections.
LO07 Students will have knowledge about the drugs used in the tuberculosis and other micobacterial Infections.
LO08 Student will have knowledge about the pharmacokinetics, action of mechanisim, side effects, contrendcations of antiameobic drugs and other antiprotozoal drugs.
