Course Goal / Objective

To tell the development science and scientific thought in the many civilizations from earliest times and Recent, and the develpoment of Geological Sciences in the World and Turkey.

Course Content

The Earliest time of Science, The History of Science in the Early Cultures, China, India, Greek and Islamic world, Roman and Middle Age, from Renaissance to Scientific Revolution, in the 17th Century-Todays, the development of Geology, and its development in Turkey, contribute to the development of geological sciences institutions and universities.
