Course Goal / Objective

Students are learn to be detected by using electrical and electromagnetic methods at geothermal fields.

Course Content

What is geothermal energy, The importance and origin of geothermal energy. Geothermal reservoir. Composed of geothermal energy fields. Areas to consist of geothermal energy. Physical parameters changing with temperature at geothermal areas. Geothermal system types. General characteristics of geothermal fields in our country, hydrothermal alteration, hot and mineral water, geothermal energy production, geothermal research with geophysical methods, resistivity method, Natural Potential method (PS), Transient electromagnetic method (TEM), CSAMT method, artificial source magnetotelluric method, a very low frequency electromagnetic method, Geothermal Drilling, Geothermal law
