Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to give information about fiber and filament yarn capacity in the world, explain the aim of texturing process, inform about texturing techniques and machines, use of textured yarns and quality control about textured yarns.

Course Content

Introduction to Texturing. Raw-material in Texturing, Texturing methods. Air Jet Texturing. Crimp Texturing. Impact Texturing. Knit-Deknit Texturing. False Twist Texturing. Textured Yarn Properties. Industry of Textured Yarn and Usage. Future of Texturing and Importance.
