Course Goal / Objective

Thermal performance; Heat transfer, thermal insulation regulations and application. Thermal properties of building materials and their effects on thermal performance of buildings, humidity and condensation prediction, thermal comfort and its parameters, wind movement in and around buildings; Climate and climatic elements in different climatic regions as environmental factors influencing architectura

Course Content

Standardized construction materials at higher levels have been found in the construction systems. This changes dramatically in aesthetic changes. However, this trend brings with it the necessity of taking some special precautions to minimize the negative effects of these modern building concepts on both individual and family privacy and confidentiality. It is aimed at giving the concept of buildings, such as climate, sound, light and artificial enviroment elements like heating, ventilation and illumination at minumum amount, Enviromentally Conscious Buildings or Controlled Physical Enviroment Buildings.
