Course Goal / Objective

Macro economics emphasizes a wide-ranging economy. It is about the functioning of the economy as a whole. Macroeconomics deals with the analysis of aggregates and deals with questions about the circulation of economic life, including national income, aggregate demand and supply, price change ratios, growth, unemployment and money.

Course Content

Definition and scope of macroeconomics. Measuring national income. Employment and unemployment. Determination of national income equilibrium level. Public sector and national income. Money supply and demand. Inflation analysis. Macroeconomic policies. Economic growth.
