Course Goal / Objective
The main purpose of this course is to introduce the basic topics of social psychology and to deal with Theoretical and empirical research findigns .
Course Content
What is social psychology. Historical development of social psychology. Meaning of social psychology. The place of social psychology among other sciences. Human models in social psychology. Social effect and adaptation, environmental factors that effect adaptation. Attitudes. Elements of attitudes, measurement of attitudes. Theories about attitudes. Learning theories, consistency theories. Comparison of consistency theories, culture personality relationship and various theories, consistency and personality change, psychosocial development of children, human perception, communication and propaganda, group dynamics and structure.
