Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is teaching the development of the Turkish novel in the Republican Period and examining the effects novel of Turkey's modernization and of new trends the in Turkish novel after of the Republic

Course Content

The content of this course is relationship between the novel of the Republic and the novel of the National Literature, the changes in the novel of Turkish to postmodernism from realism, Sabahattin Alis novel and the realism of the provincial, the position of the novel Tanpınar and Huzur in Turkish literature,Tutunamayanlar as a modernist novel and features of modernist novel, the location of the Turkish novel of Adalet Ağaoğlu, information about novel writing of Ihsan Oktay Anar and postmodernist novel.
