Course Goal / Objective

Understanding of the semiconductor switching elements and the knowledge about working of rectifier and chopper circuits.

Course Content

Definition and application areas of semiconductor switching elements; uncontrolled rectifier circuits; controlled rectifier circuits; chopper circuits; invertor circuits.
