Course Goal / Objective
In this course, the student knows the materials used in machine construction, knows the properties of various alloys and knows the methods of hardening.
Course Content
To teach materials in manufacturing equipment, mechanical and physical properties of materials and test methods of materials. To have information about Iron, steel, plastic and ceramics materials and their standards. To learn cold and heat treatment process for steel materials and to learn protection methods of metal materials from corrosion, and select materials for manufacturing
