Course Goal / Objective
Irrigation water application with the basic principles of engineering and water distribution systems, efficient use of water, irrigation system design, installation and operation approaches used to increase the level of knowledge about irrigation system design.
Course Content
Classification of irrigation systems; factors affecting selection of irrigation system; available moisture content in soil; water requirements; irrigation intervals; irrigation programming; design principles of surface, sprinkler and trickle irrigation systems.
