Course Goal / Objective

Understanding of data communication essentials, Knowing computer networks, Knowing preferences and types of cables used in computer neworks, Able to know and connect network equipments, Understanding of network protocols.

Course Content

Fundamental concepts of data communication,switching, error concepts and coding, concepts of computer networks, network equipments and cables, network types with respect to topologies, wireless networks, computer network model, TCP/IP protocol, network security.
