Course Goal / Objective

Natural and exotic trees and shrubs grown in Turkey is to provide information on botanical and ecological characteristics and distributions .

Course Content

Determination, Classification, nomenclature of trees and shrubs, Biodiversity of Turkey and geographic properties, Vegetation Structure of Turkey, General Morphology of Plants, Introduction to Gymnosperms, Ephedraceae, Ginkgoaceae, Taxaceae, Cycadaceae, Pinaceae, Introduction to Angiosperm, Monocots ( monocotyledons plants), Dicots ( dicotyledonous plants ), Araliaceae Nectar of plants, Distribution Plant Species in Geological Periods
